Why This Site Exists
Some discoveries are too significant to keep to yourself. A few years ago, I came across evidence that changed my life and left me astonished, curious, and deeply grateful. This site is my way of sharing it with the people I love, and with anyone willing to take a look.
I’m not a pastor, theologian, or academic, and I have no agenda to push. I’m 63, married 41 years, and the father of two grown daughters. For most of my life, my faith had no real foundation.
Then something changed.
The Honest Part
For the first 22 years of my life, faith simply wasn’t part of my world. God was never mentioned in our home. When I married my wife in 1985, she brought me to church, and for the next 37 years I lived what I can only describe as a surface-level Christian life. I attended, I prayed, and I was even baptized. But if you had asked me what I believed or why, I couldn’t have told you.
1963–1985: No exposure to faith
1985–2022: Going through the motions
2022–today: A faith with a foundation
The Logo on a Hat
October 2021
In October of 2021, my wife and I moved to Chandler, Arizona where we met a couple who lived next door in our condo complex. During a brief exchange outside of our front door, my wife noticed the logo on our neighbor's hat and asked what it was. He told her it was the logo of the church he and his wife attended. Soon after that conversation, we started attending.
It was one of those moments that looks completely unremarkable from the outside. A logo on a hat. A casual question. And yet, looking back, that small exchange put us exactly where we needed to be.
The Game Changer
September 10, 2022
It started on an ordinary Sunday morning. The message that day was called "Trusting The Bible Today." I had heard plenty of sermons before. But this one was different — because for the first time in my life, a message wasn't asking me to simply believe. It was presenting evidence.
The detail that stopped me cold: Thousands of archaeological findings have been discovered that support the accuracy of the places, people, events, and artifacts described in the Bible. Not interpretations. Not opinions. Physical discoveries — in the ground — that align with what the Bible describes.
"I remember sitting there astonished, and suddenly curious. I had gone this long without knowing there was evidence to look into. All these years, and I was only now finding out?"
It was like a light switch flipped. For the first time, my faith had a foundation. Not just something I believed, but something the evidence actually supported
I couldn't wait to get home. Before the drive was over I was already thinking about researching what I had just heard.
The Rabbit Hole
I started researching on my own — YouTube, books, articles, anything I could find. A few months in and I found myself now doing research on the origins of life and a video thumbnail caught my eye in the sidebar of YouTube. It showed a strange, headless stick-figure-like object with two feet, walking along what looked like a tightrope. Curious, I clicked on it.
What I was watching was a kinesin motor protein — a molecule inside our cells — carrying cargo across the interior of a living cell. It was literally walking. Two feet, step by step, along a track that was being constructed right in front of it as it moved. Inside a cell. That nobody engineered. That just exists. Inside every one of us, right now.
"I sat there staring at the screen thinking: there is absolutely no way this happened by accident."
That video pulled me deeper into the world of cell biology and DNA, and what I found felt impossible to grasp. Inside every cell, DNA carries sophisticated information, a 4-letter digital code that operates like a highly precise instruction manual—which immediately raises the question: how in the world did that information get there? How did billions of individual chemical bases somehow arrange themselves into perfect order ?
I'm stunned—yet completely inspired, because deep down I already knew the answer.
The more I discovered, the more the evidence pointed in one direction—toward a creator. I felt something I hadn’t expected: not just awe and wonder, but an overwhelming sense that this was something I needed to share.
Why This Site Exists
I built this for the people I love — family and friends, and for those who are living on “blind faith” as I was. I wanted something I could hand them that wasn’t preachy or confrontational, just honest: just look at this, and see what you think. That’s the reason, plain and simple. And if it also reaches someone who inherited their faith but never examined it — someone who, if asked why they believe, can only say “it’s how I was raised” — that’s icing on the cake.
The Part I Can’t Leave Out
Presenting the evidence was never the point. It was the door. If there really is a God who wrote the code inside our cells, then finding that interesting isn’t enough — and believing it vaguely, the way I did for most of my life, amounts to nothing. There is still action to take and the Bible states it plainly:
“If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9

I never opened the Bible. There were no devotions, no study, and no effort to understand any of it. Honestly, it never occurred to me that I should. I’d sit through Sunday sermons and walk out not understanding what I’d just heard. I couldn’t have told you what the word “testament” meant, why the books of the Bible had the names they did, or even explain the resurrection.
Easter says it all. I thought of it as the Sunday to give up my seat so visitors could attend, which meant I stayed home. I had no idea it was the most important day of the Christian year.
So why did I keep going back? Worship. From my first Sunday, church wasn’t what I expected. People dressed casually, the pastor was genuinely funny, and the music leader played the piano so beautifully that I came back week after week just to hear him. Looking back, I believe God was working on me even then. I felt something during worship that I couldn’t explain.
But feeling something isn’t the same as knowing why. For 37 years, my faith ran on emotion and habit, with nothing underneath it.
